The Oak Forest Bengals softball team continued its strong performance on Monday with a decisive 16-1 victory over TF South at TF South High School. This win marks the team's third consecutive triumph.
The Bengals, now holding a 12-7 record for the season, recorded 17 hits and made the most of their scoring opportunities. They established an early lead and maintained pressure throughout the game, restricting TF South to just one run. Senior Kynzie Oliver stood out with her performance, going 2-for-3 with two triples and three RBIs. Molly King also contributed significantly by finishing 2-for-4 with a triple and four RBIs.
According to head coach Nick Fuentes, "Our offense is starting to really find its rhythm," adding that "everyone is stepping up, and that’s what makes this team so dangerous right now." Over their last three games, the Bengals have scored a total of 41 runs, demonstrating consistency and confidence as they approach the postseason.
Oak Forest aims to extend its winning streak to four games on Tuesday when it hosts TP.
